Dacon Rescue Scoop

Power assisted rescue system for recovery of casualties from the water directly on board larger rescue vessels

The Dacon Rescue Scoop is a semi-rigid, maneuverable rescue net operated by a standard deck crane. It is used to recover distressed persons from the water when the weather or other factors make it difficult or too risky to launch a rescue craft. The person is rescued in a horizontal position with full body support to avoid further injury or shock. Dacon Scoop recovery requires no interaction from the casualty. Hence the system is fully capable of rescuing severely injured or even unconscious persons.

The Dacon Rescue Scoop is available in various models to fit vessels of all types and sizes. The equipment has been fitted to Standby- and Supply vessels in the offshore industry as well as Pilot vessels, SAR, Coast Guard cutters and many others through the past 20 years.

Please browse the various models in the product menu or contact us for advice on a suitable model for your vessels.

The Dacon Rescue Scoop is exported to countries all over the world.
